Environmental Stewardship
Reducing our footprint, supporting reliable care
We design facilities, logistics, and daily operations to cut environmental impact while protecting pharmaceutical quality and patient safety.
What we do:
- Green facilities in Freiburg and Warsaw with efficient heating and cooling, heat recovery, smart building controls, and water-saving systems
- Sustainable logistics with route optimization, efficient cold chain, and reusable or recyclable transport materials
- Green mobility programs: e-bike incentives in Germany (JobRad), low-emission commuting in Poland (Green Road), and EV charging where available
- Biodiversity at sites: native landscaping, a retention pond at our Warsaw campus, and an onsite apiary that supports pollinators
- Everyday operations: filtered tap water only (no bottled water service), waste segregation at source, digital-first documents with limited monochrome printing, hybrid car fleet, and trip consolidation for external meetings
