How we did it
The deliveries ran like clockwork. Until one didn’t.
Komtur was supplying an inhalation product from regional markets to a contract manufacturing organization in Singapore for clinical trial repackaging. Then a shipment from Taipei hit a barrier: the authorities required additional dangerous goods documentation for air transport.
The product was a pressurized aerosol. Its transport classification mattered just as much as its availability.
Even the manufacturer could not provide the required documentation. With the repackaging deadline approaching, our team worked through the alternatives.
The answer was sea freight.
We packed 2,000 packs onto a single pallet and arranged shipment in an otherwise empty 15-foot container to meet the dangerous goods requirements.
The shipment reached Singapore in time, protecting the repackaging schedule and keeping the trial supply on track.
